The Killin Highland Games are back! Join us for a day of spectacular Scottish tradition, community spirit, and breathtaking scenery on Wednesday, August 6, 2025.
Nestled in the beautiful village of Killin at the western end of Loch Tay, our annual Games offer an authentic Highland experience for everyone. You'll witness incredible displays of strength and skill, from the iconic Caber Toss and Hammer Throw to the challenging Shot Put and Throwing the Weight over the bar. Feel the energy as competitors take on the demanding Hill Race, a thrilling climb up Sròn a'Chlachain.
A Celebration of Culture and Community The air will be filled with the stirring sounds of bagpipes during the solo piping competitions and the vibrant music of pipe bands. You'll also be captivated by the grace and agility of Highland dancers performing their intricate routines. It’s a day for the whole family, with a lively atmosphere and activities to keep all ages entertained.
"The Killin Highland Games is the beating heart of our community's summer," says chairman Charlie Grant. "It’s a cherished occasion where generations come together, our heritage is proudly displayed, and local businesses thrive."
Beyond the Arena In Breadalbane Park, you'll find more to explore.
